John and I were serving as part of the leadership team at Covenant Church of Tidewater when
it joined Renaissance Church in 1997 to form Coastlands Community Church. We have always
*believed* that Jesus is the Son of God, but never *received* Him as Lord and Savior until 1970 & 1971. Oh how our lives changed after accepting and receiving Him! Many years of walking in our born again experience and yet it seems so recent. We were married on September 16, 1953. We have two married daughters, four grand children and four great grand children. We have remained active and involved in the same church and served on Staff in various capacities thru the history of our church. We have been a part of the leadership team of Coastlands Prayer Shield Team from it’s beginning; we also have shared Crown Ministry teaching over the years, teaching about God's perspective on our God given possessions and wealth, through a Biblical Financial Small Group Study; and we function as Elders under the leadership of our Pastor, Durant Kreider. John also serves as part of the leadership team for the Deacon/ Deaconess Ministry. We are retired, John having been an Architect for 38 years and has received Foursquare Credentials as a Pastor in 1999. Barbara continues to minister as Mentor to women who desire to continue to grow in Kingdom areas of their lives. We love working with people, enjoy growing flowers and working in our yard.
